Recalculation
To the editor:
The cost of the library per month per homeowner quoted as $2.88 in the letter “Modest plan” (Public Forum, Oct. 26) is not “less than a penny a day.” It is a bit over 9 cents a day. The same is true for the quoted $34.50 per year. That is over 9 cents a day. Maybe my calculator is having a bad day?
