Lawrence High senior goalkeeper Julio Salazar stole the show on Senior Night.
Salazar scored on a direct kick to lead the Lions to a 5-1 victory against Shawnee Heights on Thursday at Lawrence High.
Zach Wustefeld added three goals for the Lions. Adrian Rivera also scored.
Gavin Fischer had an assist.
LHS (4-11-1) will start regional play next week.

Is this all, just the line score and no information about the game? I've heard that the JW is shorthanded. Local coverage is really suffering.
I'm not a Lion fan, but this story doesn't tell me anything other than the basics. I suppose there will be a big story about that ofther football played by LHS tomorrow, but I don't really care.

Staff Reports for senior night. You could get a KU Intern do it for free and do a better job. At least its not a story about what good friends the team members are that has nothing to do the sport.
