Someone took a purse and items valued at $2,159 from an unsecured vehicle sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot north of the Dole Human Development Center in the 1000 block of Sunnyside Avenue. The theft was reported to the KU Public Safety Office Sunday.
