Prairie Village — Free State High’s two doubles teams placed second, and the Firebirds were fourth as a team at the Sunflower League tennis meet Thursday at Harmon Park.
Free State’s Kelly Phipps and Alexis Czapinski at No. 1 and Caitlyn Tilden and Libby Hillis at No. 2 both went 2-1 to finish runners-up at league.
The Firebirds’ Emily Sadosky was 1-2 and placed 10th at No. 1 singles, and Jackie Garcia was 2-2 and placed seventh at No. 2 singles.
Lawrence High placed 11th.
