A Lawrence Douglas County Fire and Medical crew at 11:15 a.m. was assisting a driver whose car tipped on its side near the Kansas Highway 10 exit ramp onto U.S. Highway 59.

No injuries were reported to emergency dispatchers, but a crew was needed to help extricate the person from the vehicle on the South Lawrence Trafficway.
