KU women notch road win, defeat Wisconsin, 93-86, in overtime

Kansas sophomore forward Carolyn Davis contributed 29 points and nine rebounds, leading the KU women’s basketball team to a 93-86 overtime victory over Wisconsin on Sunday at Kohl Center in Madison, Wisc.

Davis made 7 of 9 shots and 15 of 18 free throws in 41 minutes. As a team, KU shot 46 free throws, making 33 (71.7 percent).

Aishah Sutherland posted a double-double 16 points and 14 rebounds. Monica Engelman added 17 points, while Diara Moore had 10.

The Jayhawks dominated the boards, outrebounding the Badgers, 48-28.

KU (3-0) will play host to North Dakota State at 7 p.m. Friday.
