The Lawrence Breakfast Optimist Club will conduct its annual pancake feed and silent auction from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion, 3408 W. Sixth St.

Proceeds will help support 25 youth programs, including Boys and Girls Club, American Legion baseball, and dictionaries for fourth-grade students in Lawrence and Eudora.

Donations of $6 per adult and $3 per child between age 6 and 12 will be collected at the event. Children 5 and younger are free. Fresh ground coffee from Dunn Bros. also may be purchased at the event.
