To the editor:

Why do President Obama and the lame-stream media continue to focus on the human rights of illegal immigrants in the immigration law recently passed by Arizona? It is my understanding that this state law mirrors the federal law, which is not and never has been enforced in the state of Arizona or anywhere else in the United States.

With American citizens experiencing violence and mayhem, which has resulted in property damage and even murder, should not the focus of the president be on protection of our American citizens? It appears to this writer that this administration’s priorities need to be revisited. Political pandering should not trump the protection of our citizens’ lives and property.
