Soccer oversight
To the editor:
You blew it. Thursday night was Free State Soccer’s senior night, and nothing on Friday but a short video clip on the 10 p.m. news and online. The seniors were the first ones to play on the new soccer fields, and it was the last game they played on that field and evidently no one thought it was that newsworthy. Not only was it the seniors’ last night, it was also Coach Pendleton’s last home game at Free State. I feel you owe an apology to all the seniors, their parents and the coaches for your oversight.
