To the editor:

President Obama’s behavior demonstrates a complete lack of leadership. Successful leaders focus their actions on resolving the most critical issues their organization faces because they know, in doing so, this leads to success when working on less important issues. Not every important issue is a critical issue.

President Obama didn’t listen to the advice President Clinton received: “It is the economy, Stupid!” We need debt reduction, job creation and dynamic business growth. While Obama is running around the country thrilled in the afterglow of the health care bill, America is suffering.

Health care issues are best handled with a healthy economy, not a sick economy!

Successful leaders create an environment with expectations of success. With the current health care bill Obama has created expectations of dependence versus expectations of self-reliance. We do not need a nanny state health care system! We need jobs so people can afford health insurance.

Successful leaders create willing participation to achieve successful negotiations. Obama promised to improve U.S. relations with other countries. Yet he alienates England and Israel. Iran mocks Obama while Russia and China lead him by the nose. Castro and Chavez love him, wonderful.

Obama humiliated Benjamin Netanyahu after failing to extract a written promise of concessions on settlements, Obama walked out of his meeting with Netanyahu but invited Netanyahu to stay at the White House, consult with advisers and said “let me know if there is anything new,” while Obama left to eat privately. Leadership?

Obama needs to provide the leadership we need!
