Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas will be host to its 29th annual Golf Classic on May 10 at the Shawnee Golf and Country Club in Shawnee.

More than 150 golfers are expected to participate in the event, which will feature a picnic lunch, golf tournament, live auction and dinner.

Lunch begins at 11 a.m. at the club, 6404 Hedge Lane, and golfing begins at 12:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the foundation and provide social service assistance to those in need.

Registration for the event, which costs $500 per golfer, can be made online at catholiccharitiesks.org.
