From March 17 to March 26, volunteers will distribute fliers in Lawrence and Eudora asking for donations for the 23rd annual Community-Wide Food Drive, sponsored by the Boy Scouts.
Residents who receive a flier are encouraged to leave food items on their porches March 27 for volunteers to pick up and then deliver to area food pantries.
People who do not receive a flier can take food donations on March 27 to Salvation Army, 946 N.H. For more information or to volunteer, contact John Scott, 542-3510, or John3Scott@aol.com.
