No. 14 Texas A&M women rout KU, 78-54

The Kansas women’s basketball team suffered its worst home loss of the season Saturday, falling 78-54 to No. 14 Texas A&M on Senior Night at Allen Fieldhouse.

The Jayhawks lost their fifth straight game and have dropped seven of their last eight.

Aishah Sutherland led the Jayhawks with 13 points, while Sade Morris added 12. Freshman forward Carolyn Davis did not play in the game after suffering a concussion in practice Friday.

KU ended the game with 30 turnovers. Twenty of those giveaways came in the game’s first 18 minutes.

The Jayhawks fell to 15-14 (5-11 Big 12), while Texas A&M improved to 22-7 (10-6).
