• Ross Keeling has opened the Keeling Law Office in Lawrence, providing legal services to individuals and small-business owners in eastern Kansas.

• Dori Gladney has been appointed director of catering for The Oread hotel and The Olivia Collection. Gladney has been in the hospitality industry for more than seven years and is experienced in hotel sales, meeting and event planning, hotel openings and overall hotel operations.

• Body Boutique, 2330 Yale, announces that Natalie Wilkins, ACE certified personal trainer, has been promoted to a Level II advanced trainer. Wilkins, who has been a trainer since 2007, has 2.5 years experience, has attended multiple symposiums and national seminars, and also has a Lifestyle Weight Management Certification.

• Jon Wohler of Lawrence has been named the store manager at the new Lawrence Tractor Supply Co. store, 2420 Fairfield St. The store is set to open for business in mid-July. Wohler will oversee all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.

• Golf Course Superintendents Association of America chief executive officer Mark Woodward has resigned, effective immediately, to pursue other career interests. Rhett Evans, GCSAA chief operating officer, has been named interim CEO while the organization’s board of directors conducts a nationwide search to determine Woodward’s successor.

• Marsha Ward has accepted the position of advanced registered nurse practitioner/clinical specialist at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center. Ward’s most recent position was with Valeo Behavioral Health Care in Topeka.

• Andy Sherman, Lawrence, has joined Ogden Publications as its advertising sales executive for “Motorcycle Classics” magazine. Sherman will work with prospective and current advertisers in the motorcycle industry to create advertising campaigns.

• Kurt Falkenstien has been named a senior portfolio manager for The U.S. Bank Private Client Group in Lawrence. He works at the U.S. Bank office at 900 Mass. Falkenstien is responsible for providing wealth management services to meet the financial needs of high net worth and ultra high net worth clients.

• Douglas County Bank has received a Five Star Superior rating for financial strength and stability from BauerFinancial Inc. Five Stars is the highest rating attainable from BauerFinancial and is based on the overall financial picture of the institution. It’s the 85th consecutive quarter the bank has earned the honor.
