To the editor:
Budget cuts will make the coming years difficult for our community, especially our schools. My challenge to those of you who have free time during the school day: Join me as a volunteer in one of Lawrence’s classrooms next year. Contact a school and find out where you can be most helpful. Working together, we can keep Lawrence public schools strong.
