Pavement repairs will be expected to slow traffic Tuesday along U.S. Highway 59 at the southern edge of Lawrence.
The Kansas Department of Transportation will have crews filling potholes and otherwise patching pavement along U.S. 59, at the highway’s interchange with the South Lawrence Trafficway, which is Kansas Highway 10. Work also will extend onto a portion of the trafficway’s exit ramp.
Work is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; flaggers will be on site to direct traffic, and drivers should expect delays, said Kim Qualls, a department spokeswoman.

It'll be EXTRA slow going on the SLT eastbound from US59.
