Baldwin City woman’s longtime dream of appearing on ‘Jeopardy’ comes true

June 4, 2010

— Baldwin City resident Becky Henderson's longtime dream of being on the television game show “Jeopardy” will come true Monday.

Henderson's appearance on the ABC game show was filmed in February and it will air at 5 p.m. Monday on Sunflower Broadband channels 12 and 212. She was chosen for the show after auditioning several times during the years, most recently two years ago.

Henderson is a librarian in the Gardner-Edgerton school district.

Umm.... Jeopardy is syndicated and not exclusively on ABC. In fact, it is on the NBC affiliate in KC. Is it an ABC game show because the World Company owns KTKA, the Topeka ABC affiliate? I think so. BTW, the KC station offers it in HD unlike KTKA.

This is a common salutation to wish those appearing on stage or screen good luck. Anyone . . . . anyone . . .
