Literacy project seeks participants

July 28, 2010

Kansas University researchers are seeking participants for a study that focuses on teaching literacy skills to people who can’t meet their daily needs verbally.

They are seeking people, ages 3 to 50, with cerebral palsy, autism or Down syndrome for the Accessible Literacy Learning (ALL) Research Project.

The project includes assessment and instruction in basic literacy skills.

For more information, contact Jane Wegner, director of KU’s Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, at or 864-0645.
