Portion of West Ninth Street closed for waterline break
A portion of Ninth Street will be closed Thursday while crews repair a water main.
West Ninth Street from Wellington Road to Lawrence Avenue will be closed to through traffic for most of the day, City Hall Communications Manager Megan Gilliland said.
The closure is necessary because the portion of the main that is broken is directly underneath the street. Four homes in the area are without water service while the repairs take place today.
