Topeka ? The Lawrence High girls basketball team took third place on Saturday at the Capital City Classic. The Lions defeated Seaman, 51-32, at Seaman High.

LHS limited Seaman to just six points in the first half.

Haley Parker led the Lions with 18 points.

Jasmyn Turned added seven points, 10 rebounds and nine steals.

LHS (4-7) will travel to Olathe North on Tuesday.
