The Lawrence Model Railroad Club and the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen are sponsoring the ninth annual Train Show and Swap Meet from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The event will include door prizes, opportunities to earn an engineer’s certificate in switching, and more than 35 train and train supply vendors.

Admission is $6, and children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, will be admitted free. Entrants can also receive $1 off admission if they bring in a canned good, which will be donated to LINK.
