To the editor:

According to various reports I have read in the last 24 hours (Jan. 14-15), the pending “breakthrough” on the health care bill fiasco concerns the taxing of so-called Cadillac plans. The compromise is that the cap is raised and union plans would be exempt from the tax until 2017!

What this looks like to me is that the rest of us who may have such plans get to pay the tax and union members don’t. What this looks like to me is that the unions are being handed a federal club to drive people into unions. What this looks like to me is another pay-off to a Democrat Party constituency using taxpayer dollars. What this looks like to me is corruption. What does it look like to you?
