The KU Small Business Development Center will present “The Right Start” seminar from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lawrence Public Library Business Center, basement level, 707 Vt.

The free event will include key topics on: permits/licenses, accounting, taxes, marketing, financing and business plans.

A resource notebook will be available for optional purchase.
