Kansas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division will be host to an Identity Theft Prevention Shred-a-thon from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, 3300 Iowa.

Consumers can bring in personal documents, which will be shredded for no charge.

The event is one of several across the state hosted by the Attorney General’s office as part of National Consumer Protection Week, which is March 8 through 13.
