Trinity In-Home Care is expanding its services to include on-site services to teens and adults with special needs, and to children. The agency will also offer in-home companionship services to senior adults. As a part of this expansion, friendly and dedicated individuals are needed. Tasks and responsibilities will vary.

Immediate needs

• Just Food of ECKAN is in need of volunteers to help organize the pantry, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. Just Food also needs 10 volunteers around the first of every month, beginning March 3, to work in its Mobile Food Pantry from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To volunteer, call 785-856-7030 or send e-mail to carolleffler@yahoo.com

• The Social Service League is in need of donations of small kitchen appliances, pots, pans, winter bedding, curtains, small furniture, winter clothing, personal hygiene products, winter socks, knick-knacks and books. If you have any items to donate, please bring them to 905 R.I. (entrance in the alley) during regular business hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday or 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

• The Lawrence Community Theatre is looking for a volunteer to help with light office work, answering phones and potentially doing computer work. The theater is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. If you can help out during those hours, call Amber at 843-7469. Training will be provided.
