Lawrence High bowlers victorious

Lawrence High seniors Tanner Kilmer and Danielle Husted had first-place finishes to lead Lawrence High’s boys and girls bowling squads to victory in a quadrangular Tuesday at Royal Crest Lanes.

Kilmer rolled games of 247, 299 and 248 for a 794 series, and Husted bowled games of 178, 236 and 179 for a 593 series.

The Lions defeated Washburn Rural, Topeka High and K.C. Christian.

The LHS boys also received a 669 series from Chad Boyd, a 666 from Ben Wyatt, a 651 from Josh Russell, a 565 from Ryan Miller and a 503 from Riley Gentry.

For the LHS girls, Alexah Gudenkauf had a 522 series, Delaney Dieker a 467, Kirstyn Heine a 389, Raquel Rodriguez a 369 and Jamie Jarrett a 323.
