The Wakarusa Sierra Club is sponsoring an evening of educational presentations and activities Thursday.
The initial session of the club’s “Be Water Wise” season of events is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at Ecumenical Christian Ministries, 1204 Oread Ave.
The evening will focus on local water usage, issues affecting the community and conservation. Participants may bring a laptop computer to participate in an interactive Google mapping activity. Refreshments will be served.
