To the editor:

I just wanted to take a moment to say “thank you” to the guys who pick up our trash, day in and day out, no matter what the weather — and we do get the full weather extremes here in Kansas. The crew that picks up in our neighborhood (we are on Killarney Court) is awesome — ALWAYS friendly and cheerful.

One morning when I was dressed for the office and scurrying around in the garage, one of the guys on our trash crew was even so kind as to actually trot our trash can up to me at the garage door after he emptied it into the truck. That’s real customer service, above and beyond the call. These guys do a job many of us take for granted and that I personally could never physically do, and I just wanted them to know I think they ROCK.
