The Lawrence Arts Center presents a performance by Postcommodity at 8 p.m. Friday at Stan Herd’s Studio, 512 E. Ninth St. Postcommodity will perform their new cycle of American Indian futurist hunting songs, “Your New Age Dream Contains More Blood than You Imagined.”

The trio, which features Raven Chacon (KILT, Mesa Ritual and numerous other ensembles), Nathan Young (Ajilvsga, Alms) and Kade Twist (Usga), utilizes antlers, hunting calls and ampli?ers to achieve an electro-acoustic hybrid of drone and free-improvisation.

The performance will be accompanied by multi-channel video projections created from feedback that continually shifts, evolves and reimagines the tribal geometries of the future.
