PG Samantha Logic to visit KU

Samantha Logic, a 5-10 senior point guard from Case High School in Racine, Wis., will make a recruiting visit to Kansas University this weekend.

Logic, who is Blue Star Basketball’s No. 15 rated player nationally, has taken unofficial visits to California, Iowa and Stanford. She also is planning to make trips to DePaul, Marquette and Vanderbilt.

Logic had a huge summer playing for Midwest Elite AAU, an ESPN reporter referring to her as “Slammin’ Sammy Logic” in a recent article.

“We’ll play her at the point or the two (guard) and sometimes we’ll use her to guard posts. … She’s one of the strongest points I’ve had in some time,” Midwest Elite coach Ralph Gesualdo said. “The thing is, she doesn’t get a lot of fouls called for her. Defenders just bounced off her, and the officials assume nothing happened.”
