Where’s the pride?
To the editor:
I frequently go downtown and enjoy Mass Street and all it has to offer. It amazes me though that the sidewalks and entrances into stores and even restaurants are just full of litter. I understand it is not your fault that people can’t use trash cans properly. However, what has happened, when you open the store in the morning, to taking a broom out and sweeping and tidying things up? It’s not the other person’s job to pick it up; it’s yours. Where is the pride?
