Topeka ? Free State High’s Evan Schmidt and Lawrence High’s Jon Cohen shot identical 82s to lead their teams at the Topeka West Golf Invitational on Monday at Topeka Country Club.

Schmidt earned sixth and Cohen eighth after a scorecard playoff.

Free State placed eighth as a team with 357 strokes, and LHS was 16th with 376 at the 24-team event.
