Overland Park ? Blanked in Game One, Free State High’s softball team did the blanking in Game Two.

After suffering a 3-0 shutout loss to Shawnee Mission South, the Firebirds rebounded to pound SM Northwest, 10-0, on Tuesday at Meurer field.

Megan Smith pitched both games for the Firebirds (3-9).

A’Liyah Rogers was 5-for-9 on the day. Emily Smith was 3-for-3 with two home runs.

Free State will play Tuesday at Olathe North.
