Clergy say thanks
To the editor:
On behalf of the Downtown Clergy, I would like to thank the community for its participation and support for this year’s Ecumenical Holy Week services, sponsored by the Downtown Clergy and hosted by Trinity Episcopal Church.
This year, these services collected $1,461 for the Lawrence Ministerial Emergency Fund, which provides small grants to help families and individuals re-establish their transitional or permanent housing needs. We wish to thank the members and staff of Trinity Church for their warm welcome, and to those who brought such thoughtful messages each day.
