LMH employee takes leadership training

De Farmer, of Lawrence Memorial Hospital, was one of 32 students graduating from the Kansas Hospital Association Leadership Institute’s eighth class on Aug. 25 at the Critical Issues Summit in Wichita. Students were nominated by their hospital’s CEO to be part of this group representing the future leaders of Kansas hospitals.

The curriculum was structured to enhance each student’s leadership abilities over six courses. Students also learned about governance and the challenges facing health care in the future.
