Firebird gymnasts 3rd

Overland Park — The Free State gymnastics team finished third on Saturday at the Shawnee Mission North Invitational.

The Firebirds’ total score was 97.750. Lee’s Summit won the meet with a score of 101.975.

Lawrence High finished 13th with a score of 57.200.
