Bikers for Babies ride set for Sunday
Up to 8,000 motorcycles will be rolling on the streets and highways of northeast Kansas on Sunday morning, all to raise money for the March of Dimes.
The 15th annual Kansas City Bikers for Babies ride is set for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., a 100-mile route starting and ending at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.
From the speedway, riders will:
• Take Interstate 435 south to Kansas Highway 10 west.
• K-10 west to the first Eudora exit, North 1400 Road.
• North 1400 Road north to Main Street, in Eudora.
• Main Street north to 222nd Street.
• 222nd Street north to Kansas Highway 32-Leavenworth County Road 1.
• K-32 west to U.S. Highway 24-40.
• U.S. 24-40 west to U.S. Highway 59-U.S. 24, in North Lawrence.
• U.S. 59-U.S. 24 west to Kansas Highway 237.
• K-237-West Edge Road north to Kansas Highway 92.
• K-92 east to Kansas Highway 16, in Oskaloosa.
• K-16 south and east to U.S. 24-State Avenue, back to the speedway.
Riders will have two official stops: on Main Street in Eudora, and at Oskaloosa High School in Oskaloosa.
