Main Street Live
6News Lawrence will be bringing its 6 p.m. broadcast to four communities across northeast Kansas in September. Find out all the details.
What I love about Basehor
Kayla and Wyatt Loughry and Lola Niccum discuss what they love about Basehor.
Main Street Live, the live 6News broadcast touring different towns in the viewing area, came to Basehor on Wednesday.
It was the second stop for the 6News crew after televising from Tonganoxie last week. Over 100 Basehor residents turned out for Johnsonville bratwurst and beverages from Pepsi in the park, with kids enjoying the weather on the playground nearby.
Broadband Man was on hand once again to take pictures with the local youth and hand out 6News footballs. Several in the crowd gave the reasons they love living in the city, which included the friendly neighbors and the Basehor Bobcats.
The last stops on the Main Street Live tour over the next two weeks are in Lawrence and Eudora. Those broadcasts will both be Wednesday nights at 6 p.m., where residents will again have the opportunity to get a Main Street Live T-shirt for discussing what they love about their hometown.
