Shane Alford, PA-C, joins the clinical staff of OrthoKansas, PA at 1112 W. Sixth St., Suite 124, Lawrence.

Alford graduated cum laude from Southwestern College in 2001 and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then completed the 68 D Operating Room Specialist Course through the U.S. Army, in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in July 2003. He served in the U.S. Army OEF in Afghanistan from March 2004 to March 2005. He later earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Wichita State University in August 2009.

Alford joins the staff of 17 providers, which include board certified orthopaedic physicians and surgeons, PA-C’s, and physical and occupational therapists.
