Garden thanks

To the editor:

I am writing in response to the recent garden calendar article. The tenant gardens at Babcock Place are in addition to the landscaping done by the Lawrence Douglas County Housing Authority. Not only does the Housing Authority maintenance staff do the best job of any apartment building in Lawrence, they have assisted the tenants in their gardening. We have appreciated their efforts and are proud to live in such a well-maintained building.
