Workshop prepares kids for new sibling
The arrival of a new little brother or sister can be a confusing experience for a child.
Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s Tyke Hyke workshop can help make the transition easier. The free workshop is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the hospital, 325 Maine.
Tyke Hyke helps prospective brothers and sisters, ages 3 to 6, prepare for the arrival of their new sibling. It includes a tour of the LMH Family Birthing Center, a possible peek at a newborn and a discussion and video about new babies.
Advance enrollment is required by calling ConnectCare at at 749-5800. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
