Call for civility?
To the editor:
Even after many years of exposure to the Saturday Column, I was amazed by the most recent one. I agree completely with the call for civility in our public discourse. But this call came after several paragraphs of unsubstantiated criticism of our president culminating in the comparison of Obama’s coming speech to school kids with propaganda in Castro’s Cuba. Are Republicans exempt from civility? It would seem so!
