Presbyterian Manor schedules benefits

Presbyterian Manor, 1429 Kasold, a not-for-profit continuing care community, will be hosting two events the week of Sept. 14 as part of its 16th annual Fall Benefit.

The events will assist the Manor’s Good Samaritan Fund, which helps residents live at the facility after they’ve exhausted their own financial resources.

The first event is a soup and pie supper and silent auction at 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at Presbyterian Manor. Items to be auctioned include Kansas University sports memorabilia and tickets, artwork and gift certificates. Tickets to attend cost $5.

The second event is a four-person scramble golf tournament on Sept. 17 at Eagle Bend Golf Course, 1250 E. 902nd Road. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament begins at 1 p.m. The cost is $125 per golfer.

Tickets for the supper and auction can be purchased at the door or in advance. Pre-registration for the golf tournament is recommended. Contact Presbyterian Manor’s business office at 841-4262 for more information.
