KU tailgating fundraiser

Two medical clinics run by Kansas University students will benefit from program sales at KU football games this year as part of the Proud to be a Jayhawk fundraiser.

The JayDoc Free Clinic in Kansas City, Kan., and the JayDoc Community Clinic in Wichita will split revenue from the sales at the six home games. The clinics provide free service to people with little or no health insurance.

The promotion has raised more than $40,000 since 2001 for organizations and initiatives affiliated with KU.
