NAACP celebrates 100th anniversary

The Lawrence branch of the NAACP will conduct its 100-year anniversary celebration from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Nov. 7 at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H.
The celebration will include a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, music and dancing. Tickets for the event are $25, and semi-formal attire is required. The Lawrence branch will take a group photo of all past and present members at 7 p.m.
