Library staff member attends conference

Pattie Johnston, senior outreach coordinator at the Lawrence Public Library, attended the Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services Conference from Oct. 7-9 in Everett, Wash.
ABOS encourages and supports libraries providing programming, bookmobile and other nontraditional library services through community outreach. It is affiliated with the American Library Association. Johnston currently serves on the ABOS board of directors.
