Legislator behind RedNeck Rap video posts sequel online

? A Kansas legislator has posted a YouTube sequel to his “RedNeck Rap” video criticizing President Barack Obama.

The new video by Republican state Rep. Bill Otto doesn’t apologize for the earlier posting, but does praise the president for trying to help older Americans.

Otto, who lives in the eastern Kansas town of LeRoy, drew criticism for the initial video, in which he wore a ballcap that called opossum “the other dark meat.” Otto has said the words referred to his own “hillbilly” heritage, not the nation’s first black president.

In the new video, Otto says not everyone who criticizes Obama is racist.

Otto said Tuesday he posted the new video late last week and will wait to see the reaction to it before deciding whether to produce another.
