Citizens for Science sets annual meeting
A group dedicated to educating the public about science education issues is commemorating its 10th anniversary this year.
Formed in the wake of a decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to de-emphasize the teaching of evolution in state schools, Kansas Citizens for Science will host its annual meeting in November.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Kansas University Natural History Museum.
