Gould Evans to work with Ottawa University

Ottawa University has hired Gould Evans in Lawrence and 180° Urban, in Kansas City, Mo., to provide campus and residential life master planning services, a feasibility study for a new Student Learning Commons, and a feasibility study for a new student housing building.

The master planning and feasibility studies support new goals for enrollment and enhanced student academic life on campus, outlined in Vision 2020, the university’s long-range strategic plan.

The Gould Evans and 180° Urban Design team is working directly with the university’s Facility Committee to conduct assessments of existing facilities, conduct market studies and focus group sessions, provide site analysis, and lead a planning workshop with university representatives and students.

As part of the planning process, preliminary design concepts will be explored for the new Student Learning Commons and student housing to accommodate 100-200 students.
