Multiple fire crews extinguish Lecompton house fire
Multiple fire crews were dispatched Thursday to a house fire in Lecompton.
According to Douglas County emergency dispatch traffic, firefighters controlled the blaze, in the 300 block of Elmore Street, in approximately one hour.
Crews from Wakarusa, Kanwaka and Kentucky townships, as well as Perry, Lecompton and Lawrence-Douglas County responded to the fire about 5 p.m.
